Partnership with Adobe for advanced electronic signature of documents

European electronic signature solutions provider Cryptolog has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Adobe to provide technology permitting the advanced electronic signature of documents.

Those businesses which have entrusted Cryptolog with their document dematerialization projects can now benefit from both enveloped and enveloping signatures for their PDF documents. Hence the signatory can be identified, and these PDF documents will now enjoy the same legal value as hand-signed paper documents.

Cryptolog offers a set of legally-binding dematerialization solutions, ranging from electronic signature to long-term proof archiving, and including timestamping the signature validation. The company can now offer all its clients Adobe’s LiveCycle solution for PDF/A document generation, digital rights management and electronic signature management, within the document.
