A partnership to enable secure information sharing

Sigaba and Perot Systems Government Services have entered into a strategic alliance to provide technology and IT solutions to enable secure information sharing across disparate domains for the Federal Government.

Numerous agencies are currently piloting Sigaba’s secure information sharing and federated authentication technologies. Perot Systems was recently awarded the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) contract for IT support services that will enable the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to better accomplish its mission objectives. This alliance provides Sigaba with an indirect path to market with a large and well respected systems integrator to the Federal Government with broad security and domain expertise that can deploy Sigaba’s technology to enable federated authentication for applications and secure data sharing that touches many facets of the global war on terror.

In addition, Sharyn Pensmith, Sigaba’s Senior Vice President of Strategic Sales, will leave Sigaba to join Perot Systems as a new leader for Strategic Markets for its government services unit. Pensmith’s deep understanding of the benefits of the Sigaba technology, as well as her experience and knowledge of the Federal Government, makes her an excellent choice to lead the effort of providing solutions for DHS secure information sharing under the EAGLE contract. She has been instrumental in communicating to the Government the value of establishing secure information sharing via the deployment of federated authentication technology.

Donnie Blanks will also be joining Sigaba’s Federal Advisory Board as an additional means to provide closer communications and input based on his many years of Federal market experience.
