Laplink Announces Investment by Microsoft
Kirkland, WA—May 10, 2005 —Laplink, a leader in connectivity software, announced today that Microsoft has made an investment in the company.

Laplink’s most recent release, Laplink Everywhere 4, is a comprehensive browser-based remote access solution that surpasses competitors such as GoToMyPC by combining sophisticated remote control functionality with a versatile web interface that provides true “anytime, anywhere” remote PC access. ShareDirect, released a few months ago, extends Windows Explorer functionality by allowing PC users to create private, secure, direct (peer-to-peer) connections across the Internet.
