Kaspersky Lab, a vendor of secure content management systems, announces another certification for Kaspersky(r) Anti-Virus. A new generation product, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations, has successfully undergone Microsoft certification. This product is also optimized to support Intel(r) Centrino(tm) technology for mobile users, making Kaspersky Lab a participant in the Intel Software Identifier program.
Products designated as ‘Designed for Windows XP’ fully meet all functional, technical and consumer requirements which ensure they run smoothly on Windows XP. Products such as Kaspersky Anti-Virus which have passed testing bear the ‘Designed for Windows XP’ logo on boxes and marketing materials.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations is fully optimized to support Intel Centrino technology for mobile users. As a result, delivery of antivirus database updates is guaranteed, even if an Internet connection is disrupted. The solution will operate correctly in offline mode and function smoothly as users switch modes from standby to offline and so forth. Power is economized in all modes, thus prolonging battery life.
