Trend Micro Launches Small and Medium Business Content Security Makeover Sweepstakes

Cupertino, CA. – November 17, 2003 – Trend Micro, Inc. (Nasdaq: TMIC; TSE: 4704), a leader in network antivirus and Internet content security software and services, today announced the Trend Micro Small and Medium Business Security Makeover Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes gives businesses with less than 1000 employees the chance to win a Grand Prize visit from a Trend Micro security dream team to conduct a full computer and network content security assessment and to install a security software solution optimized for that business – free of charge.

There are two ways to enter the Sweepstakes. Entrants can visit Trend Micro’s website to fill out the online entry form – explaining why their business is in need of a computer and network content security make over, or can mail-in an entry. The sweepstakes runs from November 17 – December 22, 2003 and winners will be announced during the week of January 13, 2004.

Trend Micro launches this Sweepstakes in conjunction with the introduction of its new Client/Server Suite for SMB, Client/Server/ Messaging Suite for SMB, and InterScan VirusWall(tm) for SMB. These “out of box” products are designed for easy installation and configuration, and to address the specific needs of SMB customers.
