Panda Software Analyzes Past and Future Computer Viruses, in China
MADRID, October 20, 2003 – The multinational antivirus developer will participate in the ‘Forum on the Computer Info Security Trend and China Computer Virus Prevalence Survey 2003’ which will be held on October 21 and 22 in Tianjin, and attended by experts from the main antivirus manufacturers worldwide. The forum is organized by the China National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center -CNCVER- and backed by other Chinese institutions like the National Info Security Center and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Panda Software’s international technical editor, Fernando de la Cuadra, will particpate in this forum on October 21 at 1 pm with a paper entitled: “The future of computer viruses: what can we expect?”. During his speech, he will look at the malicious code that have had the biggest impact around the globe, and analayze the factors that contributed to their mass propagation. The representative of the multinational antivirus developer will look at the new virus trends and their differences with the viruses that have appeared in the past. “In the future”, explains de la Cuadra, “the main objective of creators of malicious code will be to collapse the Internet, with a more global concept of the damage to cause”.
