Conference on Mobile and Wireless Security Announced
MIS Training Institute announced that The Conference on Mobile and Wireless Security will be held in Chicago, IL, September 23-25, 2003, with optional workshops on September 22, 25, and 26. Industry experts will share their knowledge and experience at focused sessions covering hot topics and critical issues, including securing instant messaging, wireless site survey techniques, air-born viruses, wireless security architecture, authentication options, deploying WLANs, and more.
Keynote speakers will share their wireless expertise, insight, and tips-of-the-trade. Bryan Palma, Chief Information Security Officer, PepsiCo. will offer a CISO’s perspective on securing wireless technology deployment, and offer the inside scoop on which wireless technologies are really worth it. William A. Arbaugh, Department of Computer Science and UMIACS, University of Maryland will explore wireless security of the past and of the future, focusing on what problems must be solved before wireless can reach its peak.
Conference sessions are divided into two tracks, Anti-Hacking and Tools and Techniques, to ensure targeted, relevant learning throughout the event.
