Only Self-Study Books Approved and Recommended by Cisco Systems
Indianapolis, IN-April 8th, 2003 Cisco Press announced today the release of a suite of CCSPâ„? self-study books for the new professional-level security certification offered by Cisco Systems®. The only Cisco® authorized publisher of Cisco networking technology and certification self-study books, Cisco Press is the first publisher to provide Cisco authorized CCSP self-study resources since the certification’s November 2002 introduction. CCSP provides professional-level recognition in designing and implementing secure Cisco networks and requires successful completion of five exams.
Cisco Press will publish in April two CCSP self-study exam guides: CCSP Cisco Secure PIX® Firewall Advanced Exam Certification Guide and CCSP Cisco Secure VPN Exam Certification Guide. Additional titles are underway for all five CCSP components, including the Cisco Secure Intrusion Detection System (CSIDS), Cisco SAFE Implementation (CSI), and Securing Cisco IOS Networks (formerly MCNS) courses and exams.
