RAV AntiVirus for Mail Servers Now Available as Debian Installation
RAV AntiVirus for Mail Servers scans and cleans mail messages and all attachments, including archives, exe files, embedded files, etc. By doing this it helps administrators to avoid Internet malware, such as viruses, worms, trojans and hoaxes. When finding infected or suspicious objects on the mail server, customizable warning mails can be distributed to the sender, receiver and system administrator, according to the specified settings.
RAV announced that installations for Debian distributions are now made easier with the inclusion of the .deb format within the installation package. This comes as an alternative to the generic tar.gz format. The .rpm format is also available for installation on Redhat, SuSE, Mandrake and other Linux distributions.
