Check Point expands Security Management Architecture product line

Check Point Software Technologies, one of the key players in the VPN and firewall markets, announced two add-ons to their SMART (Security Management Architecture) product line – SmartView Reporter and SmartView Monitor.

In addition, SmartView Reporter produces a large number of pre-defined reports, which eliminates the need to create custom reports thereby saving administrative time and cost. SmartView Reporter is available with pricing starting at $2,000.

The SmartView Monitor is a VPN performance analysis solution that presents users with graphical views of end-to-end VPN tunnel performance metrics such as bandwidth, round trip time, and packet loss. It even compares actual VPN performance to service level agreements. Armed with information provided by SmartView Monitor, users can act to maximize VPN ROI, improve performance, and manage network costs.
