About the Expert
As Vice President of Business Development, Sanjay Mehta is responsible for the successful creation of TruSecure partnerships with industry-leading independent software vendors (ISVs) and service providers. Mr. Mehta has seven years of business development experience in the software industry. Prior to TruSecure, Mr. Mehta served as director of business development for AXENT/Symantec, responsible for all marketing and technology partnerships. He successfully orchestrated deals with companies such as BMC Software, Cobalt Networks, Compaq, iPlanet and Radware. Additionally, Mr. Mehta assisted AXENT in launching its multi-million dollar security appliance business. Prior to joining AXENT, Mr. Mehta served in several different capacities for Hewlett-Packard including information technology, business development and channel marketing. He assisted in the creation of HP’s OpenView security management business and successfully created partnerships with the likes of Cisco, Intel and Netscape.
Mr. Mehta holds a BS in accounting and an MS in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University.
