TruSecure Acquires Three Pillars, Inc
Addition of Real-Time Security Management and Monitoring Capabilities Establishes TruSecure as Global Integrated Security Services Leader
HERNDON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jan. 28, 2002–TruSecure(R) Corporation, a leading managed security service provider that helps safeguard customers with a comprehensive security health program, announced today that it has acquired Three Pillars, Inc., a Georgia-based provider of systems-based managed security solutions that offers infrastructure security management.
TruSecure will integrate Three Pillars’ remote management and monitoring services into TruSecure’s existing managed security services. This acquisition furthers TruSecure’s business strategy to offer integrated security services, giving customers a complete range of security services that span the development of security architecture and policies, the implementation of a comprehensive preventative risk management program, and now the management, maintenance and real-time monitoring of critical security infrastructure.

Thomas Joseph, formerly chief executive officer of Three Pillars, Carl Humes, formerly chief operating officer, and Jim DeBald, formerly vice president of sales and marketing, will join TruSecure’s executive staff as senior vice president of managed services, vice president of managed services operations, and vice president of channels worldwide, respectively. To complement its existing Security Operations Center (SOC), TruSecure will acquire Three Pillars’ SOC in Norcross, GA. In addition, TruSecure will acquire Three Pillars’ channel alliances worldwide. Lastly, Three Pillars’ customers, such as Reliance Trust, will become TruSecure customers.

The financial terms are not being disclosed at this time.
