Information Security Magazine Announces First Annual Security Excellence Awards
Winners and Honorable Mentions from Eight Key Internet Security Categories Chosen
ORLANDO, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Feb. 27, 2001–Information Security magazine announced yesterday the winners of its first annual Information Security Excellence Awards. Selected via online balloting by the magazine’s subscribers, the winning info security products and services represent the “best-in-class” solutions in each of eight categories.

The winners of the 2001 Information Security Excellence Awards were announced at Monday’s Awards Luncheon at MIS Training Institute’s InfoSec World conference in Orlando, Fla. The winners are also announced in the March 2001 issue of Information Security magazine, a vendor-neutral trade monthly published by TruSecure Corp. The magazine’s readership selected eight winners from nearly 50 finalists across eight product/service categories. In four of the eight categories, the magazine awarded honorable mentions to products or services whose vote total was within 10 percent of the winner’s.
