Aladdin Announces HASP4 for Mac OS X At Macworld Expo
CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jan. 9, 2001– Aladdin Knowledge Systems (NASDAQ: ALDN), a global leader in the field of Internet content and software security, today announced readiness of HASP4 USB for Mac OS X. HASP4 is the latest hardware-based software protection system designed to offer unparalleled security in a multi-platform environment. Live demonstrations of the HASP4 solution for Mac OS X are scheduled to take place at Aladdin’s MacWorld Booth No.3240.
Designed especially for Mac developers, HASP4 USB protects Mac OS X applications, as well as applications for Win32 on PCs, thus providing a more far-reaching hardware-based protection system. A single key can be used to protect applications for either Mac or Windows, providing users of both platforms with top security features within Aladdin’s field-proven HASP4. Aladdin plans to deliver the new system following Apple’s upcoming release of Mac OS X in early 2001.
