CloudKnox expands its strategic advisory board
CloudKnox Security, the leader in identity privilege management for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, announced that Art Coviello, former RSA executive chairman and well-known security strategist, joined the company’s strategic advisory board.
In this role, he will bring his 35 years of strategic, operating and financial management experience in cyber security to help the CloudKnox team reach its full market potential.
“With the proliferation of automation, IT teams have gone from managing less than 100 privileges and their associated risks to over 30,000 privileges across the major cloud platforms,” said Coviello.

Coviello is currently a venture partner at Rally Ventures, a leading investor in early-stage business technology companies. Prior to joining Rally, he retired as Executive Chairman of RSA Security, the security division of EMC.
Coviello joined RSA Security in 1995 and became CEO of the company in 2000. During his tenure, he was the driving force in RSA’s rapid growth, increasing annual revenue from $25 million to over $1 billion.
As an industry thought leader, Coviello is a regular speaker at conferences and forums, and frequently provides counsel to enterprises and government agencies combating emerging threats.

The addition of Coviello to the CloudKnox strategic advisory board comes amidst accelerating growth at the company. CloudKnox was selected as a Top 10 finalist for the RSA Conference 2019 Innovation Sandbox contest, which honors the industry’s most innovative startups, and received a Best of VMworld award recognizing the most innovative new products.
The company also attained Advanced Technology Partner Status in the Amazon Web Services Partner Network (APN), which is the highest tier for technology partners that provide software and SaaS solutions.
